Art Museum of South Texas
The Art Museum of South Texas, located at 1902 N. Shoreline is open Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Admission for Parents Weekend is two for the price of one on adult admission. Admission is $8 for Adults and $6 for Seniors and Active Military. Students are admitted free with their $andDollar$ card. Please present your Parents Weekend Invitation to receive a discount.
The Museum features works from the Permanent Collection that focus on Western and Wildlife, art of the Americas and the region.
Exhibitions this fall include:
Menudo: Chicano Art from the Cheech Marin Collection
Texas Modern: The Rediscovery of Early Texas Abstraction (1935-1965)
Inside Peanuts: The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz
The Dobson Café inside the Museum is open Saturday from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm and features sandwiches, soups and salads.
Directions from the Campus: Follow Ocean Drive north past downtown Corpus Christi. Turn left at I-37. Drive one block to Chaparral St., turn right on Chaparral and follow three blocks to Hirsch. Right on Hirsch, follow the street around the Watergarden to left. Park in Art Museum of South Texas Parking lot. Parking is free.
