Islander Parents Weekend

Friday, October 19th
Islander Revue: Talent Show
Location and Time: Performing Arts Center (PAC) from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Come out and cheer on your favorite University organization as they compete in the TAMUCC talent show. The cost is $5 for students & $10 for guests. Children under 10 get in for free. For more information, please visit the Student Foundation website.

Saturday, October 20th
Parent's Weekend Brunch and Lecture
Location and Time: Harte Research Institute conference room from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Join us for a meet and greet with the University Deans and new University Provost Dr. Christopher Markwood. Come out and join University Deans Abdelsamad (College of Business), Hernandez (College of Education), Quintanilla (College of Liberal Arts), Hamilton (College of Nursing & Health Sciences) and Pezold (College of Science & Engineering) at their brunch table to hear about all of the wonderful advancements! Dr. Markwood will be presenting on the 2010-2011 Parents' Council funds management and stories of success. He will also discuss our future initiatives set forth and answer questions from parents. Islanders Volleyball and Islanders Invasion
Location and Time: Volleyball vs. Southeastern Louisiana at 1:00 p.m. in the Dugan Wellness Center

Come out and support the Islanders volleyball team as they take on the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions. Stick around after the match to meet the men's and women's basketball teams at Islanders Invasion. This will be your first look at your Islanders heading into the 2011 - 2012 season. Fans will have the chance to participate in contests, win prizes, watch the cheer and dance teams perform and listen to the pep band!
